Planning Committee Meeting

Planning Committee meetings will be held across the five districts of the municipality.  The Meeting Schedule for 2012 is available on this link Meeting Schedule 2012. You are welcome to attend the Planning Committee Meeting at 7pm, on the first Tuesday of each month.

The meeting deals with urban planning related matters in an efficient and transparent manner and the Planning Committee’s powers are conferred by the Local Government Act 1989 and the Planning and Environment Act 1987.

Ordinary Council Meeting

Council meetings will be held across the five districts of the municipality.  The Meeting Schedule for 2012 is available on this link Meeting Schedule 2012. You are welcome to attend the Ordinary Council Meeting, which is held at 7pm, on the third Tuesday of each month.

These meetings decide strategy, policy and community development matters, governed by the Meeting Procedure Local Law 2009.

The Council Meeting Agenda which is usually available online or at the Sunshine and Keilor Customer Service Centres the day before a meeting. Copies are also provided at Chamber, on the night of the meeting.

Minutes from Council Meetings for the previous 12 months are available to the public in accordance with the Local Government (General) Regulations 2004.

Reports presented to Council Meetings are available to the public except for those classified as confidential by the Local Government Act 1989.
