We are seeking your philanthropic support to enable the Brimbank Foundation to make donations to nominated charities within Brimbank with a particular focus on providing extensive benefit to young people in our community within the areas of:
- Education
- Sport
- The Arts
- Health
- Community participation
Suppliers often acknowledge Council and our staff by giving them Festive Season gifts. For 2011 we are asking that any gift you were considering instead be directed to the Brimbank Foundation. And of course, all philanthropic donations are tax deductible. Make a Donation
The Brimbank Foundation has been established to support and distribute funds to charities focussed on helping young people within the municipality of Brimbank. The Brimbank Foundation operates under the financial umbrella of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation (LMCF) which has been supporting charities throughout metropolitan Melbourne for 88 years.
Every dollar you donate to the Brimbank Foundation Perpetual Fund doubles the benefit you make towards the future of our Brimbank Community.
Giving Grants generally of $5,000 or more are separate to the Perpetual Fund and allow the Brimbank Foundation to make significant donations immediately. We are hoping that with the philanthropic support received from Individual Giving Grant donations contributed by our suppliers, the Brimbank Foundation will be able to directly distribute more than $25,000 to various community organisations in 2012.
As part of this special Brimbank Foundation Festive Season Giving Campaign initiative we are planning a donor function to acknowledge the philanthropic support received from our business community and present cheques to recipient organisations. We look forward to meeting Brimbank Foundation donors at this function.
