All funds donated to the Brimbank Foundation are administered and managed by the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation which has been undertaking this role in Victoria for 88 years. All donations are directed to the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation.

The Brimbank Foundation accepts donations in two ways through the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation:

• Perpetual Fund Donations* enable the interest to be used by the Brimbank Foundation each year.

*With the support of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation every dollar donated to Brimbank Foundation Perpetual Fund is matched equally up to a total of $100,000 until 30 June 2012.

• Inaugural Giving Grants enable the total amount donated to be used by the Brimbank Foundation to make a significant donation to a nominated community organisation shortly after receipt of the donation.

Is my donation tax deductible?

All philanthropic donations to the Brimbank Foundation processed by the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation are tax deductible under Australian Tax Office legislation.

All donors will receive a receipt from the Lord Mayors Charitable Fund acknowledging their donation as well as a thank you letter from the Brimbank Foundation.

All Perpetual Fund philanthropic donations the Brimbank Foundation are matched equally through the support of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation up to a total of $100,000 until 30 June 2012. Every $ you donate to the Brimbank Foundation Perpetual Fund doubles in benefit to our Brimbank Community. Whichever way you make your philanthropic donation to the Brimbank Foundation it is tax deductible.
