Below are our public notices that are published on our website in accordance with Section 82A(2)(a) of the Local Government Act 1989:

Proposal To Sell Property

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989 (the 'Act') that Brimbank City Council intends to sell the property at 31 Driscolls Road, Kealba (being located in a Residential 1 Zone under the Brimbank Planning Scheme and being part of the land contained in Certificate of Title Volume 9053 Folio 994) by public auction.

The property contains an area of approximately 1,550 square metres of land and a building and has previously been used as a preschool centre.

The adjoining car park which forms part of the land contained in the above certificate of title is not affected by this proposal. The car park will continue to be available for public use.

Any person affected by this proposal may make a written submission in accordance with the provisions of Section 223 of the Act.

Submissions must be addressed to the undersigned and be received by close of business on 2nd March 2012.

Any person wishing to be heard in respect of their written submission must make such a request in their written submission and will be given the opportunity to appear before Council or a Committee of Council on a date and time to be determined.

Please note that Council is required to maintain a register of submissions that may be received for a period of 12 months for viewing by any member of the public.
