Heart Foundation Walking Groups
Heart Foundation Walking is a fun, social, and an easy way to be active. Best of all there's no cost! It's Australia's largest network of community-based walking groups with over 17,000 active members.
Brimbank has a number of existing Heart Foundation Walking Groups across the municipality that are always on the lookout for new members. Volunteer walk organisers lead groups and we have new groups starting every week.
Joining or starting a walking group in your area or workplace is a great way to get active and meet new people. Every walking group is different - varying in size, duration of walk, level of difficulty, and meeting times and places.
A Council Officer acting as the Heart Foundation Area Coordinator can offer support to set up your new walking group or provide advice on the walking group already operating in Brimbank that would best suit your needs.
