Kindergarten Enrolments
Kindergarten (Preschool) for the year prior to attending school
The kindergarten program in the year prior to commencing primary school, aims to promote children's social, emotional, intellectual, physical and language development. Children with additional needs can attend kindergarten and may be supported by preschool field officers /early intervention agencies.
Enrolments will be allocated in accordance with Brimbank City Council's Kindergarten Central Enrolment Policy for four year olds.

At any time throughout the process, applicants may advise of changed preferences, address and personal information, cancel or defer their application by completing an Alteration of Kindergarten Application form and returning it to Council.

Attendance Eligibility
- Children are eligible to attend kindergarten if they turn four by April 30th in the year of attendance
- Priority of access will be given to residents of the City of Brimbank and
- Applications for children who reside outside the municipality will be considered after the first round of allocations. In each subsequent round of allocations, non-residents will be eligible to be allocated after residents.
Three Year Old Kindergarten
Three year old kindergarten is available at selected locations only. Three year old kindergarten is not funded by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, so is more expensive than four-year-old kindergarten and is usually only three hours per week.
