Council works with young people aged between 10-25 years who live, work, study or play in Brimbank.

We aim to support young people and their families to participate in education, health, recreation and employment activities, contributing to a strong sense of belonging and pride in their community.

Brimbank Youth Resource Centre

The Brimbank Youth Resource Centre provides a safe and organised place for young people to meet.

The centre provides up-to-date information on issues affecting young people and offers drop-in programs, music & art programs, and Individual support.

Visy Cares Hub

Brimbank Youth Services (BYS) is located at the Visy Cares Hub Youth Centre which offers a range of collocated services, to meet the needs of young people in the Western Metropolitan Region.

Services at the Visy Cares Hub are:

  • Headspace Western
  • Victoria University – Youth Transitions
  • Sunshine Youth Legal centre (SYLC)
  • The Centre for Multicultural Youth
  • Robert Starry Lawyers
  • Sunshine Youth Housing (Salvation Army)
  • Ardoch Youth Foundation and
  • Melbourne City Mission.

Youth Support and Counselling

We offer Generalist Youth Support & Counselling for young people aged 12-25 who live, work, or study in Brimbank.
