Disability Services for Children and Young People
Playgroups are a great way to meet other families, have fun together doing activities, and to provide important learning and stimulation opportunities for children to encourage their development and skills.
Playgroups welcome all children and there are a number of playgroups that are specifically for children with additional needs and their families.
For more information about the playgroups in your local area, contact the Playgroup Development Officer via email on email@example.com or telephone 9249 4365.
Personal Care and Respite
In-home personal care and respite is available through the Council Home and Community Care (HACC) program for families who have a child/ young person with a disability.
Please note: An assessment to determine eligibility is required.
We provide services offering affordable recreational activities, young people and adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities.
This is a community based program which offers fun friendly outings and a chance to meet other people. Activities can range from bus outings, movie nights, bowling, and lots of other enjoyable activities.
