The Environment Department was set up in July 2004 to give a strategic direction to the City’s environment planning. The department has a combination of strategic and operational force that will improve the City’s impact on the environment.

Brimbank City Council’s Environment Department is committed to sustaining a liveable environment for all residents and visitors.

Solar Suburbs Bulk Purchase Program for Brimbank residents   City of Brimbank residents have the opportunity to purchase discounted solar panels and get assistance taking up the Federal Government Solar Homes and Communities rebate ($8000).
Schools and Community Education   School Environmental Activities, community awareness, information sessions and other environmental education resources
