Over the coming months, you’re invited to discover
the many wonderful locations and experiences our
City has to offer as we profile Brimbank’s five unique districts - Keilor, Deer Park, St Albans, Sunshine and Sydenham.
This month we focus on Keilor District - home to some of the most picturesque areas in Brimbank
incorporating Keilor, Keilor Park, parts of Keilor East, Tullamarine, Keilor Lodge and Taylors Lakes.
From the charming tree-lined Keilor Village, and lush Market Gardens, to lively shopping experiences, historical landmarks and beautiful natural landscapes, there is no shortage of experiences to be had!
Next, go strawberry picking in the market gardens
(October to May), learn about local history as you
view Harrick’s Cottage and St Augustine’s Roman
Catholic Church in Keilor Park, or pick up some fresh
pasta or cake at Assembly Drive, Tullamarine.
Finish the day with a stroll or bike ride in Brimbank Park along the Maribyrnong River, then off to dinner at a local hotel, restaurant or café - try the historic Keilor Hotel (circa 1849) or Sweet Lulu’s (Old Calder Highway).
