Water is a vital part of a liveable and sustainable Brimbank. Not only does it come from the tap for drinking and bathing, but also as rain that enters our waterways where plants and animals call home. Therefore, we need to secure water supplies into the future and ensure that the water entering our waterways is free of pollution.
In light of low water storages, Metropolitan Melbourne has a series of permanent water saving rules and restrictions, to reduce demand and ensure the efficient use of this precious resource.
