Our Sunshine Customer Service Centre has general enquiry and specialist counter services, including planning and building, and environmental services. The customer service area offers self-service options, and comfortable waiting and consultation areas.

The Council Chamber is on the first floor and comfortably fits over 100 people at a meeting. The first floor has exhibition spaces, and community rooms. We also have a computer training room on this floor for community use.

Tours

Since opening in 2016, the award winning Brimbank Community and Civic Centre has become a landmark building in the resurgence of Sunshine town centre and Brimbank.

In partnership with Sunshine Historical Society, we offer public tours of the building on the first Wednesday of every month.

The tour includes local artefacts, design features, the Council Chamber, civic art collection, state-of-the-art library, and breathtaking sixth floor views to the CBD.

The tour is a must for anyone interested in local history, architecture, art and community life.

Spaces are limited to 15 per tour.

Arrive 15 minutes before tour starting time. Tours are one hour and fully accessible.

Hire a Room at BCCC

Rooms can be hired:

  • Monday – Friday: 5-10pm
  • Saturday – Sunday: 8am-9pm

Rooms available accommodate between six and thirteen people.

Sunshine Library

Sunshine Library is set across the first two floors with a large double-height reading room, and areas for different user groups: including children, teens, and adults. The children’s zone includes an outdoor area on the first floor. Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the new building.
