The Brimbank City Council has prepared Amendment C148 to the Brimbank Planning Scheme.
The land affected by the amendment is 112 – 114 Anderson Road, Sunshine.
The amendment proposes to rezone 112 – 116 Anderson Road, Sunshine from Special Use Zone – Private Sports Facility to Residential Growth Zone Schedule 1, apply a Development Plan Overlay – Schedule 8, retain the Development Contribution Plan Overlay Schedule 1.
Amendment C148 went on public exhibition between 27 October and 28 November 2016. Submissions have closed.
Council officers considered the submissions and a report was presented to Council on 18 April 2017. The Council resolution led to a Planning Panel being convened on Monday 19 June at Planning Panels Victoria, 1 Spring Street, Melbourne.
All matters were considered by the Panel and submitters together with Council officers and the owner of the site were represented.
The Planning Panel Report which provides a recommendation about Brimbank Planning Scheme Amendment C148 was completed on 26 July 2017.
A report will be presented to Council in due course to allow consideration of the Report and adoption of the proposed Brimbank Planning Scheme Amendment C148.
