Sydenham Park is Council’s largest public open space and a wonderful natural asset with significant flora and fauna populations and sites of cultural heritage.
Come along to our community planting day and help create natural habitat and learn about our local fauna. Alongside the Friends of the Maribyrnong, we will be planting 1,700 native shrubs, grasses and wildflowers to significantly improve the health of our local grasslands perched on the top of a magnificent escarpment.
This is a fun opportunity to interact with some native reptiles, mammals and birds at the live animal display.
Please remember to bring your own gloves and water bottle, wear sturdy shoes, warm clothing and hat.
