We run an approved Family Day Care scheme for our families. This is an early childhood education and care service, offering child care in small groups in the homes of suitably selected, trained Educators. We enrol children aged up to 13 years.
Family Day Care Educators work in partnership with parents and Council’s early childhood qualified coordination unit staff. Together we're committed to providing quality education and care in-line with the Australian Government’s National Quality Framework.
Hours of care
Our scheme provides flexible hours of care, with full time, part time, or casual options.
We can provide overnight and weekend care, if necessary. Also, where possible, Educators take children to and from local kindergartens and schools.
You can book school holiday care only for children aged five to 13 years.
Enrol your child
If you’re interested in enrolling your child in this scheme, please complete the Childcare Request and a team member will contact you.
Child Care Fees
Council is responsible for approving Family Day Care fees. As an approved service, families are able to claim Child Care Benefit and the Child Care Rebate as reduced fees.
