Next time you are food shopping please consider picking up a couple of non-perishable food items to donate to our Giving Tree Program. Things are a little different this year. We’re making it as convenient as possible and asking people to drop off items directly to local charities in Brimbank. Your direct donation will help local agencies distribute items to people who might be struggling at this time of year.
Download our flyer to remind you!
How it works
Community members and groups can drop off items directly to local agencies in Brimbank throughout November and December 2020.
We will gratefully accept any non-perishable goods. The best items to donate are:
- Tinned beans
- Rice, dry beans and pulses
- Vegetable oil, peanut butter, or other nut butters
- Rolled oats
- Canned fruit or vegetables
- Packet soups
- Canned tuna in water
- Tea or coffee
- Dishwashing liquid
