Brimbank Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres are temporarily closed in line with the Victorian Government restrictions.
Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres are friendly places for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres aim to provide opportunities for individuals to enrich their lives through social connection, culture and learning.
Our Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres offer classes and activities that are generally low cost or free, and cover topics such as, health and wellbeing, art, sport, digital literacy, English as an additional language and much more.
Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres are also spaces for community events of all kinds. Some of these events are initiated and run by Neighbourhood House staff and others are community ventures run by community members who are using the Neighbourhood House spaces as a hired facility.
We have 11 Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres in our municipality. Brimbank City Council manages seven sites and the other four are community-managed not-for-profit organisations.
