What is your connection to Brimbank?

I am a long-time resident, former Councillor and Mayor, President of the Western Region Honorary Justices, Variety Community commitments, Senior Citizens and Sport.

What do you think is the greatest strength of the Brimbank Community?

Our rich diversity.

What are your greatest concerns for Brimbank?

Housing availability, affordability and employment.

What made you decide to run for Council?

I was first elected to Council in 1997 where I promised to serve the City of Brimbank for 15 years. I was on track to achieve this when in 2009 the Council was dismissed. I have run for Council in 2016 to complete this promise I gave myself in 1997.

What do you hope to achieve in your term as a Brimbank City Councillor?

I do believe that the Harvester Ward has areas which are disadvantaged such as South West Sunshine, Ardeer and the new Estate of Derrimut. I will be trying, with the help of my fellow Councillors, to make this better.

What is your favourite thing to do in Brimbank?

Assisting Senior Citizens groups and clubs during the week and helping kids get involved in sporting activities.
