If you are the proprietor of a Business in Brimbank (class 2 only) and your business has temporarily closed since 16 March 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic then please complete the below application to apply for a refund on your Food or Health premises fees for 2020.

Class 2 businesses are premises that prepare, manufacture, and store high risk food products (cafes, takeaway, manufacturing high risk food products).

Unfortunatly, Class 1 and 3's (businesses including grocery stores, convenience stores, milkbars, warehouse distributers, low risk manufacturers, aged cares, child cares) are not eligible to apply for a refund.

Your business must not be operating at all to be classified as closed. Premises that are closed to the public and are continuing to provide take away options will not be classified as closed.

We recognise that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will cause financial hardship for members of our community.

What you will need to complete this application:

  • You must be the proprietor of the business;
  • The business registration number; and
  • Your business closure date.
