Bookings for people with disability and carers

Additional support for bookings for someone with disability is available.

COVID-19 vaccinations at home are available for people who:

  • have an injury, chronic health issue, or frailty affecting mobility
  • have moderate to severe physical or psychosocial disability
  • have moderate to severe mental health or behavioural issues not otherwise classified as a psychosocial disability
  • are a carer for a person with moderate to severe disability.

Booster doses

  • Available to people 18 years and older who had their second dose of COVID-19 vaccination at least 6 months ago.
  • Not required to obtain and keep proof of vaccination status for admission and involvement in community places and programs.
  • Recommended to maintain immunity against COVID-19
  • Not recommended for people who are severely immunocompromised
  • Pfizer vaccine is approved and recommended as the COVID-19 booster dose
  • You can have the Pfizer vaccine as a booster dose regardless of which vaccine you had for your first 2 doses
  • Available without an appointment at pop-up and neighbourhood clinics listed above or book your appointment (select Pfizer option).
