Our MetroAccess program brings together the strengths, resources and creativity of local people, organisations and our team, to make the most of opportunities for community participation for people with a disability and their carers.

Disability Services Directory

The Brimbank Disability Services Directory provides information on programs and services in our municipality and neighbouring regions for:

• People with a disability
• Their families
• Their carers.

The directory is a MetroAccess initiative, funded by the Department of Human Services, implemented together with us at Brimbank.

It provides a guide to our services, as well as community groups, clubs and organisations across a broad range of community activities.

We hope the directory will be a really useful resource for you, and will assist anyone with a disability (and families and carers) to increase your participation in community life.

Recharge Points for Wheelchairs and Scooters

Wheelchair or scooter battery running low while you’re out and about? Don’t feel stuck; look for one of our Recharge Points.

Each one is in a public space, with a power point, charger cable, and is large enough for you to manoeuvre your wheelchair or scooter.

Currently there are Recharge Points across nine locations in Brimbank.
