There is no charge to attend the ten day program of workshops, author talks, panel discussions, writing, storytelling and more.

Brimbank City Council has partnered with a range of internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver a diverse and exciting festival. There is no charge to attend events. We are delighted to present the 2021 program, and hope you enjoy it!

Follow on Facebook and Instagram for updates and follow the festival using #BWRF, or contact us via email writersfestival@brimbank.vic.gov.au

The 2021 Brimbank Writers & Readers Festival is proudly presented by Brimbank City Council with support from principal sponsor Victoria University Polytechnic.

Following the recent COVID-19 Circuit Breaker Lockdown, the festival has moved to an online format. We are delighted to still present most of the original program of events, including Uncle Jack Charles in conversation with Paul Bateman, workshops on how to get your work published, panel discussions and more.

Anyone who previously booked to attend events in person will be emailed links to join through web streaming on Brimbank Libraries YouTube channel. Stay home. Stay safe. Enjoy #BWRF2021.
