The Festive Fun Day 2024 was an absolute blast! If you missed it, you missed one of the most exciting community events of the season. The day was packed with a diverse lineup of workshops, including skateboard art, basketball, tennis, African drumming, art and craft, Tai Chi and Zumba, many of which were fully booked.
The top-notch entertainment included fabulous stage performances, a giant bubble artist and roaming characters like a mime artist and accordionist. Families loved the adorable cuddly pets at our animal management marquee, while also learning about responsible pet ownership. Other marquees included face painting and photo ops with Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves.
And that’s not all! Adding to the thrill, attendees sat in Police, Fire Rescue and SES vehicles, creating unforgettable experiences. Visitors enjoyed tasty food and drinks, learned life-saving CPR skills with St John Ambulance and took home free native plants from our Environment team.
The atmosphere was electric and the community spirit was truly heartwarming. It was a day full of joy, laughter and unforgettable memories! If you weren’t there, make sure you don’t miss out next time—we can’t wait to do it all again!
