Have Your Say: Draft Response Strategy to Western Rail Plan and Draft Sunshine Super Hub Urban Design Principles

Council is seeking feedback on two key documents which will inform Council's response and advocacy to the Western Rail Plan, which includes the Melbourne Airport Rail Link (MARL) and Sunshine Station Super Hub. The documents include:

Draft Brimbank City Council Response Strategy to the Western Rail Plan (March 2019)

The Draft Response Strategy is aimed at optimising the benefits of the Western Rail Plan with a significant focus on leveraging the opportunities associated with the Sunshine Super Hub and Melbourne Airport Rail Link.

The draft Response Strategy has been prepared to articulate Council’s initial thinking and priorities, outline a preliminary program of work to help leverage the opportunities and realise the benefits, and ensure these benefits are far reaching across the Brimbank community, and ultimately deliver improved community and economic wellbeing in the longer term.

Draft Sunshine Station Super Hub Urban Design Principles

The Draft Urban Design Principles have been prepared to assist Council in advocating for the best urban design outcomes for the community as part of the Sunshine Station Super Hub in relation to the above projects.
