The St Albans pop-up gym will be safely opening to our members and community from 22 June while we are building a new St Albans Health and Wellbeing Hub.
This new pop-up gym, located alongside the Keilor Downs Community Centre, is the first of its kind in Australia, featuring a huge 200 square metre space to host an array of workout equipment.
As always, the safety of our members and staff is our first priority. There will be some measures in place to help keep you, other members and our staff safe and to make sure we comply with government restrictions.
Engineered in Germany with bespoke specifications, the pop-up gym is designed to cater for the needs of St Albans Leisure Centre gym members and our community, creating a truly unique training experience.
The gym caters to all abilities and fitness levels, with training zones hosting cardio gear, pin loaded weight machines, a stretching area and a large free weights area. Each piece of training equipment has been specifically selected to meet customer needs and best practice in the fitness industry.
The Brimbank Leisure Centres will continue to provide fitness consultations as part of their Member Program Pathway with includes four appointments with a qualified gym instructor and body composition scans.
St Albans Leisure Centre was scheduled to permanently close in April 2020 to make way for the new hub, however the closure was moved forward to 18 March in line with restrictions.
