Class Description

  • Abs Express: A 30 minute session. A strengthening session which involves a variety of abdominal exercises including lower back exercises aiding the strengthening of your core muscles.
     
  • Aqua Fit offers an aerobic workout using the properties of water for a thorough cardiovascular workout. These sessions are safe, fun, and effective. Suitable for all levels of fitness.
     
  • Aqua Exercise is designed for people with disabilities or chronic conditions to help provide relief from a wide range of conditions. A Health Questionnaire is required.
     
  • Aqua Movers is a gentle water workout with easy movements using the properties of water. Suitable for people recuperating from injuries.
     
  • B4WORKout is a 45min morning workout combining high intensity exercise with low intensity recovery periods. Designed to get your fitter, FAST!
     
  • Body Attack© - By Les Mills, is the sports-inspired cardio workout. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilisation exercises
     
  • Body Balance© - By Les Mills Aerobics, is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilate’s workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm.
     
  • Body Pump© - By Les Mills Aerobics. The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. By using the best weight-room exercises this workout challenges all your major muscle groups
     
  • Body Blast - A fun workout using non-contact basic boxing principles and incorporating general body conditioning training methods. Participants must have their own gloves.
     
  • Chair Movers is a gentle chair based class incorporating standing exercises with strength training and balance. People with chronic conditions will benefit from this class.
     
  • Fat Burn is a high energy, low impact session with easy to follow moves designed to elevate your heart rate and shape your body as well as burn fat fast.
     
  • Functional fitness - is based on functional moves such as low impact aerobics, core training, muscle toning and bone strengthening exercises using various types of equipment.
     
  • Sunshine Walkers Group (in association with the Heart Foundation) - is a social community walk that departs from Sunshine Leisure Centre at no charge.
     
  • Tabata is a popular type of high intensity interval training (HIIT) by uniting short, intense work periods followed by short rests. This class will get you stronger and fitter fast.
     
  • THT is a low impact class which incorporates freestyle aerobics and toning exercises for your core and lower body.
     
  • TRI Fit is an energetic workout including cardio, step and weight training for a total body conditioning. Designed to get your heart rate up.
     
  • Zumba - fuses Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves. It is fun & full of calorie burning awe inspiring movements designed to sculpt your body whilst burning fat.
     
  • Zumba* - This energetic Zumba workout gives you a fusion of Latin rhythms with easy to follow moves followed by Tummy Hips and Thighs for problem areas.
