LGBTQIA+ Community
We proudly support our LGBTQIA+ community through a range of initiatives, guided by the Brimbank LGBTQIA+ Action Plan 2024–2028. This plan outlines our commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and equitable community for all.
Important - Mpox is becoming a concern for the LGBTQIA+ community and the wider community. For more information around Mpox and where you can get vaccinated, please visit the Victorian Department of Health website.
Our Commitment
We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive community that values all people and the diversity they bring through their sexualities, genders, ages, ethnicities, cultures, and abilities.
We also acknowledge those within the lesbian, gay, bisexual+, transgender and gender diverse, queer/questioning, intersex and ace+ (LGBTQIA+) communities who have worked hard to support the improved health and wellbeing of their peers, children, families, friends, and country.
We recognise the communities of which we are a part of and celebrate the extraordinary diversity of people’s bodies, ages, genders, sexualities, and relationships that they represent.
