Melbourne Water is updating flood information for the Brimbank area as part of the Greater Melbourne Flood Information Program.
Updated flood maps will help identify areas that may be at risk of flooding from stormwater drains and waterways, both now and into the future. The information will support planning, emergency management and community preparedness.
Draft flood maps open for consultation
From 8 July 2026, Melbourne Water will release draft flood maps for Brimbank for public consultation. Residents, property owners and businesses will be able to:
- View the draft flood maps and search for their property.
- Learn more about potential flood risk in their area.
- Provide feedback to Melbourne Water before the maps are finalised.
This consultation is being managed by Melbourne Water. Community feedback will help inform the final flood maps before they are published.
