Sunshine Library

The new Sunshine Library is located over the first two floors of the Brimbank Community and Civic Centre

It features a large reading room, quiet study areas and booths, a video games area, children’s touchscreen pcs, an outdoor space on Level 1, a toy library and collections in 11 community languages. 

Library Services

The Library holds an extensive collection of educational, recreational and reference materials for children, young people & adults, including fiction, non-fiction, largeprint publications, magazines, newspapers and audio & video materials.

Multilingual materials, inter-library loans, photocopying, internet access and personal computers are available.

The Library conducts preschool story-times and school-holiday activities for children. Community activities are arranged. A housebound service is provided for the aged and those with disabilities.

Community languages spoken include Greek, Italian, Maltese, Polish and Vietnamese.

Membership: Free.

Special Requirements: Proof of identification and current address are necessary to join.

Children under 18 years of age require a parent or guardian as guarantor and to provide permission to use the internet.
