Sydenham Library

Sydenham Library is located on the ground floor of the Sydenham Community Hub at Watergardens.

Programs are available for all age groups such as a weekly Lego Club and monthly book group.

The library offers study facilities, programs for all age groups and a video games area. Council’s Customer Service is based in the library.

There is an additional computer and study area available to library members on the first floor of the Sydenham Community Hub.

The Library holds an extensive collection of educational, recreational and reference materials for children, young people and adults, including fiction, non-fiction, largeprint publications, magazines, newspapers and audio and video materials.

Multilingual materials may be reserved and borrowed. Inter-library loans and photocopying are available.

Sydenham Library specialises in internet access, games, multimedia and specialist information technology (IT) help, with thirty-eight personal computers available. An x-box is also available.

The Library conducts preschool story-times and school holiday activities for children. Community activities are arranged. A housebound service is provided for the aged and those with disabilities.

Community languages spoken include Vietnamese.
