We've partnered with Tweddle Child & Family Health Service to offer a new breastfeeding support service. It gives you extra help if you're having breastfeeding challenges.
However this is not a drop in service. You must be referred to the program by the Brimbank Maternal and Child Health Service.
Support is offered based on a lactation consultant's review of referrals. Places will be offered by appointment.
- For families with babies up to 3 months old
- One-to-one support from a lactation consultant to help women who want to start breastfeeding early
- A limit of 4 families at each session
- No charge
- Runs Tuesdays and Fridays during school terms
Tweddle will provide the service at 24 Maplewood Road, Kings Park.
The support also includes follow up phone contact to find out how effective the support has been.
