Do you have strong links to the Brimbank community? Are you passionate about representing community views?
The Brimbank Community Fund Advisory Committee is seeking three additional members with diverse skills and experience but a shared passion for the Brimbank community.
Women, Indigenous, culturally and linguistically diverse community leaders, also people aged under-25 with a passion for aiding youth engagement are strongly encouraged to apply.
What is the Brimbank Community Fund?
The Brimbank Community Fund was set up in 2009 as a sub-fund of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation (LMCF).
It exists to provide a permanent and growing source of much-needed investment for the Brimbank community. The fund tackles priority issues and contributes to the vision of Brimbank as a proud, diverse and connected community.
To date the Brimbank Community fund has dispersed grants totaling $45,000.
What does the Committee do?
Brimbank Community Fund Advisory Committee members help raise funds, build networks and disperse grants for the Brimbank Community Fund. They do this by working in partnership with local residents, businesses and charities to identify areas of need, grow a source of income and develop solutions to pressing local issues.

Expressions of interest close on 18 October 2019. Interviews with prospective committee members will take place in November 2019 with new members to be welcomed in December 2019.
