Council adopted the Albion Neighbourhood Plan on 22 October 2013. It has been prepared to provide direction for future housing development in Albion, and identify a range of associated public realm, access, traffic management and community infrastructure improvements.
The Plan was initiated in response to community feedback received about the Brimbank Housing Strategy ‘Home and Housed’, and road network changes associated with the Regional Rail Link Project.
Preparation of the Plan and associated community consultation was guided by a Community Reference Group comprised of local residents.
