The Permit holder/Indemnifier agrees, for the duration of the permit, to take out a suitable public liability insurance policy as per guidelines, to indemnify the Council, its agents and each of them from and against all actions, costs, claims charges, expenses and damages, which may be brought or made or claimed against them, arising from any negligent act or omission of the Permit holder/Indemnifier, in relation to the authority granted by the Council. The exception being for any actions, costs, claims, charges, expenses and damages arising, either in whole or part, from any negligent act or omission of the Council, its servants and agents.
