Telephone & On-Site Interpreting (TIS)
The Department of Home Affairs provides the TIS National Interpreting Service for people who do not speak English, and for English speakers who need to provide information.
TIS National has access to more than 1400 contracted interpreters across Australia who speak more than 160 languages and dialects.
The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for people and organisations needing interpreting services.
