Our Investments Policy (PDF 44KB) provides direction to management and Council in relation to the investment of funds, and establishes an appropriate structure to ensure that Council:
- complies with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1989 (the Act)
- funds are preserved
- maximises the return on funds whilst operating within the requirements of the Act
- ensure the investment portfolio is structured to provide sufficient liquidity to meet all reasonably anticipated cash flow requirements.
