Council adopted the Residential Waste Services Policy (PDF 167KB) on 16 July 2019. The policy ensures that residents have access to services which advance our waste management objectives:
- Minimise the community’s reliance on landfill;
- Encourage initiatives which reduce the amount of waste generated;
- Provide services which promote recycling as an alternative to waste disposal; and
- Reduce litter and dumped rubbish through education and enforcement.
