As part of Council’s ongoing implementation of Creating Better Parks Policy & Plan, we offer a wide range of parks, playgrounds and reserves that include outdoor exercise spaces for people of all ages. There are 25 Council-managed outdoor exercise equipment areas located in neighbourhoods where people can stay healthy and exercise outdoors.
The outdoor exercise equipment provides easy access to equipment and free fitness opportunities for all members of the community to use at any time. From stationary chin-up bars to monkey bars to moveable body-weight shoulder presses, this equipment provides a great alternative to indoor training.
