Our Kindergarten registration and enrolment guide (PDF 1.1MB) aims to ensure all children have equal opportunity to access a high quality funded sessional kindergarten placement.
The process starts with ‘notional registration’, which means each baby born in Brimbank can be registered for kindergarten on their visit with the Maternal Child Health Nurse.
We provide a centralised registration service to help the placement of children into sessional kindergarten services. This does not include kindergarten offered at long day care centres. Council does not operate long day care centres.
