Permits are required for anyone living in a caravan or portable shed on a residential property for more than 1 month.
These permits are designed to ensure the safety and comfort of the person living in the portable accommodation and protect neighbours from inconvenience and discomfort.
Permit charges
A non-refundable application fee of $82.20 must be paid when submitting the complete application form.
Once an application is approved a permit fee of $342.20 is required.

Submitting your application
Post the form with a cheque or money order to City Regulatory Services, Brimbank City Council, PO Box 70, Sunshine 3020.
Or take it to one of our Customer Service Centres where you can pay with cash or via EFT
