Each year Local Government Victoria conducts a state-wide community satisfaction survey to measure our community’s level of satisfaction with our performance in relation to:
- overall performance
- community consultation
- advocacy
- making community decisions
- sealed local roads
- customer service, and
- overall Council direction, as well as 23 service areas.
The report highlights our results, benchmarked against:
- performance in the previous year
- state-wide results and
- the Melbourne-Metro group.
2023/2024 survey
Brimbank Council is proud to have achieved excellent results in the statewide Community Satisfaction Survey for 2023-2024. Council would like to thank everyone who took the time to answer questions and provide their input.
- 600 community members were surveyed face-to-face across the year. The survey was conducted by Metropolis Research.
- Some results are our highest ever recorded and demonstrate the work being done by Council to improve services for our community
- Satisfaction with Council’s Overall Performance increased by 8% to 70 this year (from 62 last year)
- Big increases also occurred for Community Consultation and Engagement, Customer Service, Decisions made in the interest of community, Lobbying and Advocacy, Governance and Leadership, Meeting Environmental Responsibilities and Value for Rates
