First steps new parent group

We welcome you and your family to be part of the First Steps New Parent Group program. This is a facilitated 7 week program for new parents delivered in:

  • English
  • Vietnamese and
  • Burmese.

The aim of the group is to support you in your role as a new parent, and to give you an opportunity to meet and socialise with other new parents in the area.

The program covers a range of topics including:

  • getting to know each other and getting to know your baby
  • being a parent in Australia
  • helping baby sleep and settle
  • food, your baby and the family
  • looking after yourself
  • play, more than fun and games.
