Government subsidised in-home support services are designed to provide assistance with tasks that enable you to continue to live independently and safely at home.
In-home services can include meals and food preparation to help ensure you continue to eat well, home and garden maintenance to help you keep your home and garden in a safe condition and home modifications to help maintain your ability to move around your home safely and independently. Eligible individuals aged over 65 interested in these services can select a provider through My Aged Care.
If your service was previously provided directly by Brimbank City Council, your service was transitioned to the following Commonwealth Government appointed service providers:
- Australian Vietnamese Women's Association Inc. (Delivered Meals)
- Gateway Social Support Options Inc. (Delivered Meals)
- IPC Health Ltd.(Home Maintenance and Home Modifications)
- mecwaCare (HACCPYP Clients)
The Aged Care sector is currently undergoing significant reform and changes. Please engage with My Aged Care for up to date details about providers operating in Brimbank.
If you are looking for support in engaging with My Aged Care or aged care services, Brimbank’s Community Connector Program can help.
