Planning Permit Extension of Time application

Extension of Time eligibility

Sometimes you need more time to start works, or you want to keep perfecting your dream. We get that. But you can only apply to extend a Planning Permit to:

Start works:

• Up to 6 months after the expiry date.

Finish works:

• Up to 12 months after the expiry date; and
• the works/stage started lawfully before the expiry date.

Subdivision Planning Permits

You may apply using this form or have your land surveyor apply via SPEAR.

Who can apply

• The owner of the land
• The occupier of the land to which the permit applies
• A person who has written consent from the owner.

What you need to apply

• Planning Permit application number
• credit card to make payment.
