Brimbank Council launches new improved website

Brimbank Council has overhauled its website, to provide new and improved features to make your online experience with Council a better one.

The new website went live on 6 February and includes a new menu designed to focus on the community and customers. The website also has more online forms and payment options, a new look events calendar, community directory, improved accessibility and more.

For anyone who is a registered user on the website, the new website means there is no need to login to the services offered on the website.

What’s changed?

An updated menu: We know users of our website visit us for different reasons. This is why we’ve created a new menu designed to make it easier for residents, businesses and visitors to find what they’re looking for. Explore our new menu and see what’s on offer. And if in doubt just use the search function, or contact us through ‘Chat’.

More forms and payments online: We’ve made it easier to apply and pay for things with more online forms, expanding our already extensive list. Click on ‘Apply, register and pay’ to submit an application or permit, make a booking, submit a registration, or make a payment.

What’s on: Check out our new events calendar to find out what events big and small are happening near you. Our calendar includes a mix of Council-run and community events. If you’ve got an event to promote, you can add t to our calendar and let the whole community know about it.

Quotes to be attributed to Brimbank Mayor, Cr Ranka Rasic:

“Our new website has been designed to focus on the people who use it most – our residents, local businesses, planners and developers and visitors to Brimbank.

“The aim was to provide an improved and more consistent user experience all round.

“This work was driven by our commitment to community first. We wanted to ensure the website offers a better, more seamless online experience to users when they visit Council’s website to access a service or information, or to make an online transaction.”
