Council is delighted to announce nominations are open for the 2023 We Are Brimbank Awards.
The We Are Brimbank Awards recognise the exceptional contributions, hard work and determination of businesses, groups, social enterprises and organisations that make a positive contribution within Brimbank.
If you know of a project, organisation or community group that deserves to be recognised, don’t hesitate - nominate them now by completing the online form on Council’s website brimbank.vic.gov.au/waba
There are five categories open for nomination:
Recognises organisations/groups that have raised the profile of Brimbank city’s art and culture community, or tourism in Brimbank.
Recognises organisations/groups with remarkable projects or events that have made a significant contribution towards fostering a welcoming, engaging, and interconnected community.
Recognises organisations/groups that have made contributions towards enhancing the natural environment of the city and/or promoting environmental sustainability within the Brimbank community.
Recognises organisations/groups that have successfully implemented initiatives that demonstrate leadership and commitment to business innovation through innovative ways of working. This acknowledges and celebrates sole traders, groups, businesses, social enterprises and organisations that have successfully implemented initiatives that demonstrate leadership and commitment to business innovation through innovative ways of working, and/or created something unique to the market place.
Recognises organisations/groups that have made a significant contribution to the ongoing education, learning and engagement of the Brimbank community.

Nominations can be made online till midnight on Sunday 10 September 2023.
A panel of judges will assess the nominations and select finalists. The winners of the We Are Brimbank Awards will be announced at a special presentation event on Thursday 26 October 2023.
